Everything started a few years ago in sunny Tuscany. Seeing all the beautiful hills with vineyards on them, being surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, trying new wines with delicious food and learning about new grape varieties led me to a wine course.
I wanted to learn more about wines, different grape races, influence of climate and soils on wine taste, wine-making process etc. The course was interesting, challenging (I was studying in Dutch) and overwhelming, but I never thought of giving up, I read more about wines, I tasted more wines, I visited wineries and tastings, all I did was talking about wines, searching for interesting wines.
After passing my exam and getting my Wine certificate (SDEN3) diploma, I knew I wanted to do something with wine. Study further, explore and work with wine.
And one day the whole idea of having my little wine shop, with exciting wines, with the name and concept came to me.
My goal is to bring interesting, unknown, not so popular wines to the Netherlands.
For now we have a selection of wines from Piedmont, the region of Italy where the best wines come from & also amazing sparkling wines from the Netherlands! Yes from the Netherlands! There are more than 200 vineyards in our country and the wine business is developing & growing rapidly!
